The offline inspection app

Install

Open the app in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone) and choose Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen like a native app.

Before you leave

On Inspections, tap Make available offline. Upcoming inspections and the inspection screen are saved on the phone.

On site

• Every tap is saved on the phone immediately. The badge at the top shows Saved on device, Syncing or Synced.
• Photos are shrunk on the phone and uploaded in the background. If the upload fails they stay queued and retry every 20 seconds and whenever the connection returns.
• Tap a photo to draw arrows, circles, boxes or text on it.

Two devices

Changes merge item by item. If two people edit different items, both are kept. If both edit the same item, the later edit wins.

Don't

Don't clear browser data on the phone while photos show as "to upload".
